Happy Mother's Day

I know Mother's Day has come and gone, but I've been meaning to post some pictures from my first Mother's Day for the past week!  All in all it was a very lovely first Mother's Day.  Of course Kwame was missed, but we did talk and he made sure to send some wonderful Mother's Day treats my way   : )

Payton was a doll and presented me with a pretty red carnation and card!  

Thanks so much to everyone else who sent Mother's Day wishes my way ... the cards, the gifts, the phone calls and texts and the facebook messages were awesome! 

I spent quality time with the ones I love and stuffed my face with good food all day long.  It doesn't get much better than that!
